The people in my life view me as an ordinary wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, or neighbor. I, like most of them, have been living, what one might consider, a normal middle class American life. I live paycheck to paycheck, have a small savings account, have a mortgage with all the bills that come with it, spend vacations visiting family, and try to find moments of peace in between. For many years I viewed myself through the eyes of the people in my life and shared their opinions of myself until the infamous year of 2020 changed my ordinary little corner of reality into an upside down reality that no longer made sense. This year has been described as the great awakening, the start of the apocalypse, the beginning of a spiritual battle, and many more, but despite which colorful description you assign to the year 2020, we can all agree that this year changed the lives of humanity throughout the world. From this pivotal moment in my life, I have become a more authentic version of myself, one who has removed the blinders and and all the multiple “identities” created to fit into society, one who speaks my truth, and one who continues to look for common solutions to solving the issues which have been swept under the rug for so many years, decades, and centuries even. This upside down reality that made no sense, prompted me to look deep within and understand the parts in my life that are truly worth spending my precious and vital energy on. It has brought me to an awareness of how my own actions have led to the perceived fears, failures, shortcomings, and the overall feelings of insignificance felt throughout the various stages of my life and was made aware of the truth of how I created every aspect of my reality that I live in from moment to moment. I embarked on a journey of self discovery and through this journey uncovered many truths, as well as, misconceptions that I had been programmed to believe through my experiences and by allowing the influences of others to chart my course. I discovered that the only person I never listened to was myself. Then my learning to listen to my own voice, discovered who I truly am, resulting from what I prefer to call a spiritual awakening. Right now in this moment, I know that sharing the struggles, the pain, the joy, the peace, the difficulties, the victories and the losses experienced is necessary, because embarking on such a journey can feel lonely and defeating when there are but a few who can relate to it.
The goal for writing this newsletter is to share with EVERYONE my unique way of viewing the world; with any person willing to take the time to consider. It is my hope that no member of humanity be excluded and that no member of humanity feel threatened or belittled based on their own perspectives, culture, or any other conditions. I present the story of my journey of self discovery through a variety of viewpoints and use language that represents many different ways of thinking and believing, in hope that I may accomplish this. Globally, nationally, and locally, every person living on planet earth is experiencing many changes and facing difficulties; some shared and some personal and individualized. When faced with questions about what the future will hold, many believe that it is doomed to end in disaster and that we have no control over how this will unfold. Perhaps through an open mind and willingness to take an honest look at my personal viewpoint presented within the newsletters, you can come out with a different understanding (or at least have considered a different perspective), then begin to see that the realities we truly want CAN be obtained.
The issues in the world that we are currently facing did not develop overnight and lie within every sector of life in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual arenas. Therefore, its reversal will require:
Open Mindedness
Willingness
Desire for solutions that will last and apply to all
Desire to accept responsibility for being part of the solution
Desire to live with integrity
I do not pretend to have the answers or solutions to the mountains of problems that plague us, however, I do have a unique way of seeing the world around me and the keen ability to understand the many points of views of others. The most vital obstacle that I see preventing us from standing together and becoming united in finding those answers and solutions, is defining, clarifying, and removing the barriers that cause miscommunication. Some of the barriers that cause miscommunication are language barriers, cultural barriers, racial and religious barriers, social and political barriers, and any other divisive wedge that has been placed in our paths. We are all unique and we all have unique abilities, gifts, and ideas. It will take this combination to find solutions to problems that are equally unique. Just as every piece of a puzzle is essential to completing its full picture, every member of humanity is essential to completing the full picture of the problems and solutions of the world. My perspectives will not be for everyone. Some things I share will resonate and some will not. My humble request is that you take what you need and leave the rest. Any benefit that you may receive, no matter how small, brings us all one step closer to resolution. In gratitude for the many gifts you all have provided by simply existing at this time and in service to humanity, I share with you all, my unique perspective and experiences.
May we all live in peace, harmony, and joy for the remainder of our lifetimes here on Earth.
